2013 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah - August 5th - 11th
The 2013 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah has grown from a respected, amateur cycling race in to one of only four internationally-sanctioned, multi-stage, American pro cycling events. Boasting nearly 600 miles of racing and more than 40,000 feet of elevation gain across the state of Utah, the Tour showcases some of the most beautiful and challenging cycling terrain in North America.
Stage 1 of the 2013 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah kicks off from 9,600 foot Brian Head Resort base, and finishes in Cedar City, a.k.a. "Festival City, U.S.A."
Stage 2 travels from tiny Panguitch, Utah past two National Parks, over Boulder Mountain to even tinier Torrey.
Stage 3 races from Richfield to Payson through the heart of Utah's high desert ranches and farms.
It's on to Salt Lake City in Stage 4 for a repeat of 2011's brutal downtown circuit race.
Stage 5, the "Queen Stage" winds its from Snowbasin Resort near Ogden, to another Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort finish.
Stage 6 reprises the epic 2012 Park City to Park City route that featured some of the steepest climbs and fastest descents in pro cycling.
